Since the launch of this website there have been recent developments with Learning Platforms.

A Learning Platform is a place where children can learn online at anytime, anywhere. As a staff we have decided to move the links from this page into the Learning Platform, which every child in the Rossmere Community has access to through their unique username and password.

Links to work that is currently taking place in classes and fun things to do on the internet are accessed through the children's 'class' space on the learning platform. This means we, as a caring profession, are doing everything to keep our children 'e-safe' when they are using the WWW. The children are enjoying using the Learning Platform and Parents/Carers who attended the meetings in January when the Learning Platform was introduced to the whole school were pleasently surprised how the WWW can be used safely in education.

There are a small number of children who have become so confident in using the learning platform they have helped training sessions in the school, in Hartlepool and in the North East. We are very proud to have these ICT 'Whizz Kids' to help us along the Learning Platform Journey.
